The architects and designers at this Oregon-based studio are using Vimeo Create to grow their business without compromising quality.

In their work, finished spaces, and of course, their video marketing, the acclaimed designers and architects at William Kaven Architecture know the power of strong visual design. That’s why they’ve historically opted for full-scale video productions when looking to showcase their work. “Each short film we produce is a labor-intensive undertaking that requires complex film editing software,” says Partner Daniel Kaven. But Vimeo’s intuitive video creation tool is unlocking new doors for the design studio.

The William / Kaven team still prioritizes longer-form video content in some aspects of their work, but Vimeo Create is now helping the team up their video output, lower their cost per lead, and majorly reduce their click cost. “The advantage of Create is that very short form clips can be created for social content by members of the team without film editing experience,” explains Daniel.

Video creation, unlocked

Prior to exploring Vimeo’s intuitive video creation tool, William Kaven Architecture primarily utilized Vimeo to host their finished projects and promote their finished spaces online. But their Vimeo Business subscription also granted the William / Kaven team full access to all Vimeo Create features. And so, a sustainable video pipeline was born.

“We typically make four short films a year," says Daniel. "But we intend to use Vimeo Create to increase production to one film per month of varying length and complexity, as well as many shorter videos for advertising purposes.”

Stunning design, meet stunning ROI

But the folks at William / Kaven aren’t just making more content than ever before. They’re also investing effort into content that’s proving out business impact. In a recent social campaign of Vimeo Create videos, the team saw an 11% lower cost per lead and a 49% lower cost per click when compared to industry averages for similar content. (Not to mention a significant uptick in IG followers!)

From architecture award applications to design community networking, video is already a vital part of William / Kaven Architecture’s marketing plan, but the team of powerhouse designers will continue to expand their video output to drive more engagement and surface qualified clients.

“We’ve just recently started incorporating more moving images and video into our posts and stories, and have seen increased engagement with this content,” adds Daniel. “Vimeo Create’s user-friendly platform makes the editing process more accessible and efficient for short-form work.”
