Summer is waning and dark clouds gather on the horizon. Everything looks good on the surface, but behind the idyllic facade of the house of Jakob and Maria there is a different reality. The visit of Maria’s younger sister inflames a desire in Jakob, thus manifesting the fissures in Maria and Jakob’s relationship.
