To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Air Force 1, Nike and Slam Jam joined forces to create two reinterpretations of the street icon. From this union was born the "So Different, So Similar” campaign, a metaphorical journey from New York to Milan to discover different forms of urban life. To narrate the project, two contents were produced for the SNKRS app, Behind The Design and Talking Shop. The first one, the story that led to the origin of Slam Jam and the collaboration through an interview with the two protagonists who signed the redesign of the AF1. In the background, the Slam Jam headquarters in Ferrara. The second one, the union of several voices from the Slam Jam community to talk about the importance of Spazio Maiocchi within the Milanese cultural scene.
