As part of The Tin Forest, an international arts project created by the National Theatre of Scotland and part of the Glasgow 2014 Cultural Programme, people across Glasgow, Scotland and the Commonwealth were invited to illuminate and bring back to life a local forgotten space at the official transition from Winter to Spring.
This video shows teachers, parents and community group leaders how to make a tin can lantern.
Children undertaking any part of the process should be closely supervised by an adult.
