Aspen Center for Environmental Studies' new four-minute animated short film "What's Happening in Our Forest?" addresses some of the issues affecting our forests on a national level, including fire suppression, management practices, bark beetles, and climate change- induced drought stress. The film aims to familiarize the public and policy-makers about the state of America's forests and introduces a few promising practices that could be part of the solution.
