Fashions Racial Reckoning- September 2020 -Washington Post Magazine
When black creatives are allowed the opportunity to create, this is the beauty that comes out of it.
Inspired by Gordon Parks photography, I have been assigned the task interpret both Gordon Parks and Itaysha’s imagery into a moving piece of art. The complexity of her emotions, her aura, and playfulness, tells a story of a woman free from restraint and the joy that accompanies that sense of liberation.
When black creatives are allowed the opportunity to create, this is the beauty that comes out of it.
