Hi. This is my submission for the 'View From Here.' Unfortunately, I had only found out about this competition the day before the deadline, however I really wanted to enter, so I did the best I could in the time that I had. At the start of the video I wanted to show the daily lives of the people and some scenery as well. You will see that there is a camera effect where there is video of people at an underground train station, i did this to create a security camera effect. Then towards the end there is a montage showing the war and its impact. i used clips from the following videos: British Soldier Arms, Cambridge, City Bound,The Answer, War Comes To London and Women In Wartime.I made the sound using garage band, and some sound effects that can be found there. I used iMovie to edit. I wanted to also add sound from the videos themselves of the narration through out, however due to time I decided not to so that i can enter in time.
I have always had a strong passion for film and would love to have a career in film in the future. I just finished my A Levels, and I will be starting university in September, one of the subjects that I had studied was Media Studies.
