The Sunset Maker is an short inspired by Psalm 19 “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands”
We imagined a sunset not as something painted, but something being built in real time. Our approach was to use C4D and lock the Camera Depth of Field to Z = 0. The blurs created are an organic blend of shapes extruded in 3D with a very, very small f-stop. Technically, quite the challenge while personally, lots of peace.
