This was my graduation project and winner of the National Animation Festival in 2009, Animec. The story is based on a well known legend of Quito - Ecuador, about how the Indian Cantuña built the Church of St. Francis in the time of the Spanish Colony.
My version has a new point of view, where the Indian is more like a hero, instead of the usual pejorative roll given to indigenous people in colonial legends.
