It's yet another very early start to the day for us, this time so we can explore the backstreets of Cholon - Saigon's historic Chinatown - and to accompany the inhabitants to their local street market, because the first ritual in the daily routine of the people of Saigon is shopping for fresh food.
The film was shot hand-held using a Sony FS5 Mark II camera, with a 18-105mm lens fitted with a Tiffen Black Pro-Mist filter (⅛ density).
The film was shot in 4K and was composed in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio.
Edited, colour-graded and sound-mixed using DaVinci Resolve Studio 17.
