The MN Show was joined by the Loose Lips residents this week and Medallion Man, Jef T-Scale and Rommek were impeccable guests. Seamlessly playing b2b like that, this wasn’t their first rodeo either.
At this juncture, I should point out two things;
1. I was entirely too sweaty to be on screen
and
2. I really had no idea what to expect because the lads have such varied tastes in music.
What I got was a lovely three hour B2B set, ranging from stark ambient soundscapes to the dancefloor friendly techno they have been championing at their gigs for the last few years. It really warmed my cockles to hear Medallion Man start off with an epic stoner rock track too. I love that kind of risk taking in a set.
