HOME, is a tale about what we seem to miss to perceive every day, not to see, or even not to try to see. This film is a journey around my home city, Nysa, through the places which every one once saw or passed many times and those about which many had no notion of their existence. 'The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence', one can probably briefly describe it as, I guess.
The works on the pictures occupied me for the last two years, in this time I searched for new, interesting places, as well as the completely new look at those that I had already known. I am very grateful for the help from my frequent companions of the trips, my friend Matthew and my girl-friend Sara. The furthest places we reached were only just 60km away from Nysa! The final sequences were really hard to choose, and the still coming to existence new seqences made the choice even harder. I did not also manage to realize all the guidelines and aims that I had set, mainly because of often not favourable weather conditions and the fact that the whole project was coming to life in my free time from the commercial orders.
HOME, is a foretaste of the project that Mateusz and I have been working on together for a longer time now, and which will come to life, most probably, in autumn 2015.
