Dr. Wann Jia Loh’s came to us with a vision to make a concept she created called LILAC-for-lipoprotein(a) into a cartoon educational video.
We worked closely with Dr.Loh to built the animation around it, and make her vision come true!
We designed a handcrafted 3D world inspired by stitched fabrics, toy characters, and tactile surfaces. The animation uses subtle stop motion style timing so the characters feel like physical objects brought to life.
Our team handled:
• Concept development and visual direction
• Storyboarding and design exploration
• Character and environment design
• Full 3D animation and rendering
• Texturing to achieve the tactile handcrafted look
