from Luke Griffiths
My biggest solo self-filmed undertaking to date, this film takes in two of Scotland's most northerly trail centres in addition to some of the finest loam trails I've ever ridden. Luckily the weather stayed roughly the same throughout filming, good old overcast skies.
Most heavily featured are the Highland Wildcat trails at Golspie, hence the title, and so my deep gratitude goes to the local community group that built and maintains the trails there, for I had many hours of fun filming there. The second location was the Forestry Commission trails at Balblair offering a good little technical XC route not far down the coast from Golspie on the Kyle of Sutherland. You'll have to find the secret spots for yourself though...
