A (very early) prototype of an instrument built in Processing controlled by a Wiimote. The Wiimote's roll controls the frequency of one saw wave, its pitch controls another (offset) saw wave. The nunchuk controls the instrument's gain. The mapping isn't quite right (hence the harsh frequency jumps) but its a start. I'd bet the right combination of frequencies and proper Wiimote-to-frequency mapping would result in an instrument that isn't as painful to listen to, and is much more easily controlled. Some easing between frequency jumps might also be in store.
When complete, the nunchuk will still control the gain (left hand on the theremin) and the pitch and roll of the wiimote will control height and proximity of the right hand on the theremin. For now this is just a proof of concept.
