This is a short film about a big step in the life of my family.
In the summer of 2019, my wife Katrin, our two kids and I moved from Hamburg in the north of Germany to the west coast of Norway.
After having lived in or on the edge of a city of almost 2 Million inhabitants for most of our lives, we moved to a small village with not even 1500 people. Life is very different now and we love it. For many reasons. A major part is the the beautiful nature that now surrounds us every day. Wilderness basically starts 15 minutes from our doorstep.
And after around 30 journeys to many different areas of Norway in the past 20 years it felt a bit like finally coming home.
