I first met Dwaine and Terran about a year ago when their good friend Kori contact me to shoot the surprise proposal at Acres of Land Winery, in Richmond, KY. Making contact with Dwaine that day, sent us down a path of producing videos for his startup company PODZ gear, and then onto the wedding, which took place May 31, 2014, at The Ashley Inn, in Lancaster, KY.
Both Dwaine and Terran are children of faith, who are devout Christians, and wonderful souls to be around. They have wonderful family and friends who welcome everyone in with warm hearts, and great country cooking!
I was excited to learn we would be shooting everything at The Ashley Inn, a lovely bed and breakfast in Lancaster, KY. Surrounded by horse country, it was serene and beautiful. Amanda Marshall, the site coordinator gave Brandi and I free reign over the property. I got down there early that morning to get some aerial footage, as the weather was perfect. It wasn't too long after when the ladies arrived to begin hair and makeup. We had the privilege of watching Katherine Jones Kung do makeup. The girls all looked gorgeous!
It was a fun day working along side Kena and Tashi Isaacs of First Comes Love Photography, the ladies did a great job keeping everyone laughing and smiling! Probably one of our favorite receptions complete with hot dogs, hamburgers, home made salads and cookies, nothing beats a country spread :-).
