“The feminists had destroyed the old image of woman, but they could not erase the hostility, the prejudice, the discrimination that still remained.” ― Betty Friedan, The Feminine Mystique
Cult leaders are predominantly the last to die in declarations of mass suicide, seeking the safety of enlightenment to the chosen believed destination, a last clinch of power, a sure succession of control, a selfish act, in a selfish world. Following the ritualistic rights and order in the crucifixion of their leader, here gather a small collective who have absconded, revolted and rejected the gender order of sexual repression weakened by the discord between patriarchal archetypes and those of the belief in the divine feminine. A refusal of redemption by the hands of man which so easily blamed and banished them, which used toxic masculinity and sexualised gender roles as their scapegoat. A transgression of being led that of temptation and a deliverance against those that are witnessed as evil.
