2010 I visited Iceland for four days and nights just after the summer solstice. I had my 5D with me where ever I went and shot loads of footage, most of it during night time. I've intentionally added a heavy vintage look to the footage in the grade. Sort of feels right for this video, plus it gives the footage a lot more character. The film is about 6 minutes, which is a tad too long, but I did not have the stomach to throw more footage away... Hope you don't mind!

Shot on Canon 5D Mark II with a bunch of different lenses, but most of it, if I remember correctly, with the Canon EF 16-35 f2.8. Also used the Canon 550D for a couple of track shots.

Twixtor for slowmotion effects. I used the Marvels plug-in to remove a bunch of anti-alias color issues (http://is.gd/ICQAD7). Grade done with Magic Bullet Looks. Edited in Premiere and AE CS5.5.
