Will is the Frederick Dirks Professor of International Economics and an affiliate of the programs in International Politics and Economics and Russian and East European Studies at Middlebury.
Tim is the Marshall D. Shulman Professsor, Department of Political Science, at Columbia University and the editor of the journal Post-Soviet Affairs. He teaches about the politics of corruption, autocracy, and economic development usually with a focus on Russia and Eurasia. His recent book is Weak Strongman: The Limits of Power in Putin's Russia.
