Founded in 1974 the group evolved through various incarnations through to 2004, creating an international reputation for unique performances and sculptural layouts of various invented & industrial style instruments including their trademark slaptube percussion-stations.
Extended works by the group include 'Drumwheel', 'Out-In', 'Gung Ho 1,2,3D', 'Drum/Sing', nuclear protest works 'Pacific 3,2,1,Zero', & 'Fax to Paris', Songs for Heroes, Global Hockets & Pacific Plate.

The films, Pacific 3,2,1Zero & Drum/Sing were both made in collaboration with award-winning film director Gregor Nicholas, & produced by Trevor Haysom, THE Productions.
The video Uncharted Crossing was originally made as a visual component for "Songs for Heroes", later as a stand-alone video with sound track added.
