New York Baroque Dance Company / Summer Multi-era Workshops

The popular duet, the Gavotte de Vestris, appeared as a trio version in an anonymous manuscript inscribed as Dance Book TB. 1826. It was published, along with other dances, in facsimile by Pendragon Press in 2000 as The Extraordinary Dance Book TB. 1826, with scholarly commentary by Elizabeth Aldrich, Sandra Noll Hammond, and Armand Russell.

This dance was reconstructed by Sandra Noll Hammond at the Santa Barbara Historical Dance Workshop sponsored by the New York Baroque Dance Company.
