The Shoemaker

Frank Catalfumo was a shoemaker and repairer in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. He first opened the doors to F&C Shoes in 1945 and continued to work five days a week alongside his son Michael well past 90 years old. Frank was legendary for his vivid stories about life in Brooklyn back in the day. Frank passed away in 2017.
