“ExtraBold” is the compendium of all the imagery of Serial Cut™, a Spanish design studio established in Madrid in 1999 by Sergio del Puerto, that focuses on art direction for international projects.
The book was published worldwide in September 2012 by Index Book & Page One (Asian edition) and contains 320 pages, printed on different kinds of paper, showcasing more than 150 projects from the early years up to the present time.
ExtraBold® is more than a book: some pages recognize AUGMENTED REALITY technology, which can be used with the freely downloadable "ExtraBold" APP for iPhone and iPad; it connects to the following media content:

This is the first time that a design book has used this technology to display more than 3D figures (as many magazines and books have already done), for it connects to extra multimedia content.
The studio invited their 9 international artists/designers/studios to make an original piece. They began by choosing an artwork from the Serial Cut™ portfolio and then made a REMIX in their own style; these an open interpretations of the Serial Cut™ world are by:
