Born as a branch of the female:pressure network, f:p visualpulse aims to encourage exchange/discussion and further the sharing of knowledge and experience specifically in the field of video art , while promoting cross-media collaborations within the network itself. 

It includes artists from the network involving the creative exploitation of moving pictures in their artistic practice to create multimedia interactive works, audiovisual installations, video art, digital image, performances.
