Most teams write tutorial scripts in Google Docs, then paste them into a separate teleprompter app, and then paste them again into a captioning tool. Three copies of the same script drift out of sync.
Cutting 'um' and dead air from a rough take usually means opening Camtasia, Descript, or Premiere. That's a video editing project layered on top of a training project.
Once the tutorial is edited, captions come from a captioning vendor, chapters get added manually in YouTube or a hosting tool, and the embed lives on a different site than the recording tool.
