Ad-free video player, no compromises on brand or quality

You're in great company

Ad-supported players are giving your audience away

  • Pre-rolls send viewers to skip

A pre-roll ad before your marketing video is an attention tax. Half the viewers hit skip the second it appears, and a chunk closes the tab before your first frame plays.

  • End-screen grids steal the click

When a video ends and the player shows a grid of other videos (including competitors), the click that should have gone to your CTA goes to a next-up thumbnail instead.

  • Ads change the viewing experience you designed

You picked the video, the thumbnail, the pacing, and the end screen. An ad in the middle of playback undoes the story arc you built for a viewer who agreed to watch your content.

An ad-free video player is the baseline for anything marketing, sales, or product ships. Vimeo's player runs ad-free on every plan, has no suggested-video grid on the end screen, and lets you customize the entire viewing surface on paid tiers. That means the frame is yours from thumbnail through end screen, whether the video lives on your marketing site, in a sales deck, or inside a product tutorial.

Ad-free playback on every Vimeo plan, from Free to Enterprise

Every Vimeo plan (Free, Starter, Standard, Advanced, Enterprise) plays ad-free. No pre-rolls, no mid-rolls, no post-rolls, and no suggested-video grid on the end screen. The player streams adaptively so quality scales to the viewer's connection, and it supports up to 8K with HDR and Dolby Vision when the source has it. The viewing experience you designed is what your audience gets.

No pre-rolls, mid-rolls, or post-rolls

Ad-free means ad-free. Viewers watch your video from thumbnail to end screen without a single ad break. Every plan, every video.

No suggested-video grid

When the video ends, the player doesn't show a wall of other videos (yours or anyone else's). The end screen is yours to design.

Custom end screens on paid plans

Replace the default end state with a branded card, a CTA, an email capture, or a link to the next video in your series. Attention lands where you want it.

Adaptive streaming

The ad-free player scales quality to the viewer's connection automatically. Fast networks stream full quality, weak networks stream without stalls.

Brand the ad-free player and lock down where it plays

On paid plans, the ad-free player is fully brandable: color, logo, thumbnail, end screens, and player controls. Custom fonts are supported for on-screen text. On paid plans, domain-restricted embeds prevent the video from playing on sites you didn't authorize, which protects gated and paid content from re-uploads. Free plans show a small Vimeo watermark on embeds; paid plans remove it entirely.

Custom player color and logo

Match player controls to your brand color and add your logo. The ad-free embed looks like part of your site, not a third-party host's default.

Custom thumbnails and end screens

Set a custom thumbnail for pre-play state and design an end screen with CTAs, links, or an email capture card. Attention goes where you send it.

Domain-restricted embeds

On paid plans, lock the ad-free player to your approved domains. Gated content and paid videos only play where you authorize.

No watermark on paid plans

Starter, Standard, Advanced, and Enterprise remove the small Vimeo watermark on embeds. The ad-free player becomes fully unbranded for third-party surfaces.

Why an ad-free video player wins on marketing and sales content

Marketing and sales videos get one shot at a viewer who agreed to watch you. An ad-free player keeps that shot pure. No pre-roll drops viewers before your intro, no mid-roll breaks your pacing, no end-screen grid steals the click at the CTA. Combined with custom branding, adaptive quality, and domain restrictions, the ad-free player turns every embed into a self-contained conversion moment.
  • Higher completion rates

No ad interruptions means more viewers finish the video. Completion is one of the strongest signals of a video working, and ad-free is the baseline for it.
  • Attention lands at your CTA

The end screen is yours. When the video ends, the viewer sees your next step, not a suggested-video grid that pulls them off the page.
  • Brand matches the page

Player color, logo, thumbnail, and end screen customize to your brand on paid plans. The embed doesn't visually announce it came from somewhere else.
  • Domain restrictions

Lock the player to approved domains on paid plans, so gated content stays gated even if the embed code leaks.
  • Adaptive quality per viewer

Each viewer gets the bitrate their connection can handle. Weak networks stream without stalls, fast networks stream full quality up to 8K.
  • In-player CTAs and lead capture

Add clickable CTAs and email capture cards inside the ad-free player. Marketing videos convert without leaving the video.
  • Auto-captions in 99 languages

Every paid upload auto-captions in 99 languages. Every ad-free embed ships with accessibility and sound-off viewing built in.
  • Analytics on every embed

See completion rate, drop-off, and engagement heatmaps for every ad-free embed. Iterate placement and content with data behind the call.
  • Responsive iframe

One embed code, correct sizing across desktop, tablet, and mobile. The ad-free player renders clean across every layout.

How to embed an ad-free video player on your site

Vimeo makes every embed ad-free by default. Here's the flow from upload to live ad-free embed on your marketing site or product page.
  1. Step 1

Sign in to your Vimeo workspace and upload the video. MP4, MOV, WMV, AVI, and FLV all work as source files. Vimeo transcodes to adaptive H.264 in the background.
  2. Step 2

Customize the player: color, logo, thumbnail, and end screen. Set autoplay, loop, or muted-start behavior for the way the video should behave on the page.
  3. Step 3

Set privacy: Public, Unlisted, Password-protected, Hide from Vimeo, or Private. Add domain restrictions on paid plans if the embed should only play on approved sites.
  4. Step 4

Copy the responsive iframe embed code from the video's Embed panel and paste it into your CMS: WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot, Squarespace, or a hand-coded page.
  5. Step 5

Publish. To refresh the video later, replace the underlying file in your Vimeo workspace and the embed URL keeps working with the new content.
