Manage every live event from one dashboard

You're in great company

Managing live events across scattered tools burns hours per event

  • Scheduling lives in a separate tool

Events get scheduled in a calendar tool, hosted on a streaming platform, registered through a marketing tool, and captured in analytics somewhere else. Every event becomes a scavenger hunt.

  • Stream health checks are their own console

During the broadcast, producers hop between the encoder, a chat tool, and a stream health monitor. If something drops, no one sees it fast enough to react before viewers do.

  • Post-event recap requires stitching data

Registration data lives in one tool, engagement analytics in another, the recording somewhere else, and the follow-up email in yet another platform. Post-event reporting takes days per event.

As live events go from a handful per year to a weekly cadence, running them across scattered tools becomes the bottleneck. Scheduling lives in a calendar, hosting in a streaming platform, registration in a marketing tool, stream monitoring in a separate console, and analytics somewhere else. Every event turns into a scavenger hunt for producers, moderators, and marketers. A centralized live events dashboard collapses that back into one view.

Every event, every stage, in one workspace view

The Vimeo live events dashboard is the workspace view for every live event in your account: scheduled, live, and archived. Producers see the full pipeline in one place, moderators join events without hunting for links, and post-event data rolls up to the same dashboard without a separate reporting tool. Available on Advanced, Premium, and Enterprise live streaming plans.

Scheduled, live, and archived in one view

Every event in your workspace shows up in the dashboard grouped by status. Filter by date, host, tag, or workspace folder to find the one you need.

Fast event setup from templates

Save your event setup, registration form, branding, and destinations as a template, then spin up the next event in seconds instead of rebuilding from scratch.

Direct links to every stage

Jump from the dashboard to the studio, to the registration form, to analytics, to the recording. No context switching between browser tabs, no lost links.

Team roles and permissions

Assign producers, moderators, and viewers per event or across the workspace. Reviewer seats can watch and comment on past events without touching event settings.

Broadcast-time control with real-time monitoring

During the live event, the dashboard is where your producer runs the show. Stream health, backup stream status, audience count, chat, Q&A moderation, and per-destination status all live in one console. On Enterprise, if the primary stream drops, the backup takes over automatically without a producer scramble or a broken event for viewers watching in real time.

Real-time stream health

Live quality monitoring shows bitrate, dropped frames, and per-destination status in real time. Producers see problems before viewers do.

Enterprise backup stream failover

On Enterprise, the dashboard shows backup stream status alongside the primary. If the main feed drops, the backup takes over without ending the event.

Simulcast destinations in one view

See every destination you are streaming to — YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, or any custom RTMP endpoint — with per-destination health. Stop or restart a destination without touching the primary broadcast.

Moderated Q&A and audience chat

Approve questions before they surface, pin messages for the audience, and hand off chat moderation to another team member from the same dashboard the producer is running.

Why a centralized live events dashboard changes production cost

Consolidating scheduling, broadcast, monitoring, and post-event reporting on one dashboard is the difference between a two-person production and a five-tool scramble. Producers work from one console, moderators join without hunting for links, marketers pull registration data and engagement analytics from one export, and the post-event recap comes together in minutes rather than days.
  • Faster event setup

Templates and workspace defaults mean the second event takes a fraction of the setup time the first one did. The tenth event is faster still.
  • Fewer tools to license and train on

One dashboard replaces separate tools for scheduling, streaming, monitoring, moderation, and analytics. Total tool spend drops as event volume grows.
  • Producers focus on the show

The team running the event stops context-switching between five browser tabs and focuses on the broadcast itself. Show quality goes up when producers are not managing tabs.
  • Real-time visibility for stakeholders

Marketers, PMs, and execs can watch attendance and engagement rise in real time from the same dashboard the producer is using. No parallel dashboards to maintain.
  • Unified analytics across events

Trend attendance, engagement, and drop-off across your event series without cobbling exports from multiple platforms. Series-level insights live in one view.
  • Post-event recap in one click

The archived recording, transcript, captions, translated languages, and analytics roll up to the same dashboard automatically after the broadcast ends.
  • Consistent branding across events

Workspace-level defaults for branding, registration forms, and destinations mean every event in the series looks and feels like it comes from the same team.
  • Moderation queue and audit trail

Q&A moderation, chat moderation, and moderator actions log to the event, so post-event compliance review is a single tab, not a scavenger hunt.
  • One place for training and onboarding

New producers, moderators, and marketers learn one dashboard instead of five separate tools, so team onboarding shortens meaningfully.

How to use the Vimeo live events dashboard

The live events dashboard is your workspace hub for live events. Create an event, configure registration and destinations from workspace defaults or a template, go live from the dashboard, monitor stream health and moderation, and pull post-event analytics from the same view.
  1. Step 1

Open the live events dashboard from your workspace navigation. You will see scheduled, live, and archived events grouped by status in one view.
  2. Step 2

Click New event to set up from scratch, or pick a saved template to reuse an existing registration form, branding, and destinations for the next broadcast.
  3. Step 3

Configure destinations and registration. Add simulcast destinations (YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, custom RTMP), attach the registration form, and assign moderators and producers.
  4. Step 4

Go live from the dashboard when it is time. Stream health, backup stream status, chat, Q&A, and audience count are visible in one place during the broadcast.
  5. Step 5

After the event, review post-event analytics on the same dashboard. The recording, transcript, translated captions, engagement data, and registration list roll up automatically.
