“Stock Exchange” is an artistic installation, which was commissioned by DIP INC, to setup in its art fund launch event in UCCA (Ullens Center for Contemporary Art) in Beijing. All three LED screens displayed the visual works purely generated by computer programs. Although the visual patterns are pre-set, the variations of the movement of the elements are randomly produced and will never be repeated. This piece represents the unpredictability of the ever-changing stock market and the excitement brought by it.

"Icosahedrons – the geometric globes of twenty identical triangular facets – were a mathematical experiment in unity used by Plato to demonstrate an ideal compositional system of perfect symmetry in three dimensions. In a twenty-first century gallery space, the glass, steel, and LED structures bring a rigid and gleaming tangibility to the abstraction of the numerical calculation of flawless coherence. The objects are compelling approximations, facsimiles of understanding and belief thousands of years old that come down to us on our own terms of modern metals and technological light."

DATA GATE _ World’s First AI Astronomical Research Data Sculpture Public Art by Ouchhh

KEPLER: 9.6 Years in Space_2662 Planets confirmed_61 Supernovae Documented_530,506 Stars observed

The installation consists of 3 parts; Form, Light and Space. Light is world’s first artwork based upon the idea of utilization of Machine Learning in the context of space discovery and astronomical research through NASA’s Kepler Data Sets.

By using the Kepler data from NASA, the public will be able to observe the exoplanets [planets that orbit around other stars] which human life can exist in. By taking this concept one step further, Ouchhh aims for this artwork to be considered as a gate between our planet and other habitable planets around the universe.

Ouchhh will visualize and stylize the findings of these Neural Networks for identifying exoplanets using the dimming of the flux. The resulting work will invite visitors to plunge into the fascinating world of space discovery through immersive data sculpture. The installation will offer a poetic sensory experience and is meant to become a monument of mankind’s contemplative curiosity and profound need for exploration.

A spatial and media production for a very important place. But nobody likes to speak about – the toilet.
Together with Heimat Berlin m box erected an extraordinary monument for the place of silence with a temporary installation.

Via a spiral entry got over 100 visitors got access to the center of the room - in the middle a stone monolith with a full functional toilet. Only who dares to take a seat, will be trapped by metaphorical and abstract picture in a mad odyssey through the depth of digestion – till the liberating eruption.

M box designed and produced the unconventional space situation as well as its visual and auditive performance, were responsible for the technical equipment and programming of the feed system of 34 fan-shaped arranged projection surfaces and a surround sound installation.

P.S.: The toilet was actually fully functional, but – what a surprise – only a few people dared to use it :)

samsara - a kinetic installation telling the story of oneness

saṃsāra: "The cyclicality of all life, matter, and existence" - ancient Hindu and Buddhist teaching.

synergy: The interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects.

The kinetic installation's 252 white triangles are driven by a singular energy force, the rotating black disc in the center.

Three sliders running in the three intersecting rings of the disc transmit the circular movement of the energy source. The energy is then passed on from triangle to triangle - resulting in a mesmerising choreography of all the parts.

Throughout human history, many cultures have told the story about the interconnectedness of all there is. Recent findings of quantum entanglement or mirror neurons hint at a scientific explaintion for immaterial dynamics such as synergy and synchronicity.

Similarly, each part in samsara is connected according to its purpose, and each part behaves in accordance with its synergistic whole. A system unpredictable through observation of its individual parts and a system in which, even a small input of energy can evoke big changes.

This physical representation of the concept "everything is connected to everything" allows for an intuitive understanding of oneness and that nothing exists without the things around it.
